The Pee-Pod offers an exciting blend of performance, versatility, & style. The Pee-Pod is the prime component of a unique system that can be used as a remote head for a jib arm combination or linked into a variety of pc's for memory playback or multiple head combinations.

This head is constructed from a combination of light alloys, plastics, and other corrosion resistant materials. The Pee-Pod is lightweight, smooth, strong, and quiet in operation.

The drive electronics have their own computers built in with their own eng lens interface. Effectively it asks the lens, which type of lens are you? what camera are you fitted to? this all happens in an instant, with Pee-Pod automatically changing its instructions.

The motor drive is a hybrid that has the precision of a stepper with the power, speed, and efficiency 0f a dc servo. A new type of encoder is fitted to both pan & tilt giving a resolution of over 490,000. This new format produces surprising performance over a wide speed range.

Control of pan / tilt / zoom & focus are sent down a single wire. This keeps the cabling simple, reliable, and cost effective.

The instructions for these functions utilize one of the most common data links in use today, rs 232. This universal system gives the Pee-Pod user, an advantage that is enormous. Rs 232 is used by most pc computers, and there are a vast amount of standard off the shelf accessories that can be used with the pee-pod. This includes linking the operator to the Pee-Pod via telephone modem, rf, and satellite.

Complete memory playback can be achieved via a number of different methods including the Pee-Pod's own computer control console.

The Pee-Pod is fitted with multiple slip rings including a triax channel using industry standard triax connectors. This allows unrestricted continuous rotation of pan and tilt.
